XITA is rooted in the 西塔 (Xita) district of Shenyang, a culturally rich, working-class neighborhood shaped by Chinese and ethnic Korean traditions.

From that origin, we distilled a grilling style that is spice-forward, unapologetically bold, and fundamentally communal.
